Expanded polypropylene is a foam material made from expanded, predominantly closed-cell foam particles and is ideal as a raw material for foam parts with a range of applications, in which both a light weight and a good thermal insulation are in demand, or light weight is necessary in connection with high impact absorption.
EPP raw material is available in various types and colors. These are coordinated in particular with specific applications regarding thermal and mechanical characteristics.
With outstanding characteristics (see below), EPP has become generally accepted as an ideal material in many fields and reached market sectors which so far were reserved only for other plastics:

Characteristics of EPP foam parts:
high impact absorption at a light weight
good restoration capability after static and dynamic impact
reliability in a wide range of temperatures
excellent resistance to chemicals and oils
excellent capacity of thermal insulation
environmentally sound
versatile reusable ness
free of propulsion gases and other chemical propellants
